Brentwood High Street Shops
High street Brentwood is about 5 mins walk from the station up the hill. Here are some photos of shops on high street. The first one below is what it is tot the high street. You can walk from one end to the other in 5 mins. Most of the shops open around and close around pm.
There are no huge shopping malls or huge buildings with shops awaiting you. I took pictures on a Sunday evening when not a single soul was around at 7 pm.

Places to eat on the High street:
These are the few places to eat: MacDonalds (they do not serve any veggie burger as on Sept 13), Subway sandwiches, Zizzi, a couple of other cafes and newly opened Bongiorno Pizza.

There is Subway sandwich shop right opposite the Swan. This photo was taken from inside the subway shop, looking out the glass window.
Places to Shop:
From the usual shopping chains, you have M&S, Argos, Sainsbury’s. Besides these, there are many charity shops including British Heart Foundation and other Hospices.
They have used items including furniture, electrical and electronic items, home and garden, books and the likes. Waterstones bookshop also makes its presence felt in about halfway mark of the high street.
