La Ronde,Quebec
La Ronde is located in Montreal, Quebec. It was built as the entertainment complex during 1967’s world fair, the expo 67. It is the largest amusement park in Quebec while the 2nd largest in Canada.
The park allow access from middle of May till late October, with maximum admissions in the month of July. Children of age 2 and below get free entry. For Family rides, there is a requirement of height of 36 in (0.91 m). Most intermediate rides need 44 in (1.12 m) and the desired height for high-thrill rides is 52 or 54 inches (1.32 or 1.37 m).
La Ronde ends its season in the last weekend of the month of October. In the same month, to celebrate Halloween, the park also organize its yearly La Ronde’s Fright Fest. The fest has four haunted houses with many costumed entertainers who walk through the park.
The park includes 40 rides with ten roller coasters, one of them is Le Monstre with a height of 40 metre, is a wooden double-tracked roller coaster which has the record for tallest double-tracked roller coaster in the world.
Galaxyland, Alberta
Galaxyland, earlier known as Fantasyland, is an indoor park that is based in West Edmonton Mall (Edmonton),Alberta. West Edmonton Mall is the largest mall in North America.
It houses the Mindbender, world’s highest (14 stories) and longest indoor roller coaster.
It has also the world’s tallest indoor tower ride, the Space Shot, which is at 36.5 metres.There are overall 24 different rides running in Galaxyland.
Calaway Park, Alberta
Calaway Park is largest outdoor family park in Western Canada. The park’s location is Springbank, Alberta.
The park is a home to different types of rides that includes a large log flume, the rides Chaos and Storm. The two major attractions of park are The Vortex, its corkscrew roller coaster, and the Dream Machine, a swing ride. There are many other rides that are exclusive to the park.
Calaway Park covers 90 acres and currently it has 33 rides with 27 games and 22 food stalls. The park has been operating continuously during seasons since 1983.

Centreville Amusement Park, Ontario
The Centreville Amusement Park is located on Centre Island which is a part of the Toronto Islands, offshore of Toronto, Ontario.
The main attractions of the park include a carousel, log flume, an enclosed “Scrambler”, a Ferris wheel, a mini roller coaster, a ‘haunted barrel works’, pleasure swan boats, bumper boats, classic motor cars and many kids rides, like the tea cups, drop ride,a swing boat and fire engines.
There are several food deals, games and a gift shop. You can also enjoy a wading pool, mini golf and pony rides.
One of three mini train rides in Toronto runs at the park (other two are operated at Street Roundhouse and Woodbine Centre). It comprises of 2 trains, the Lil Red Express and Lil Blue Express respectively with 5 passenger cars on a 2 feet narrow gauge track which encircles the park grounds, farm and passes through a tunnel.
Wonderland, Ontario
Wonderland is a 134-hectare park based in Vaughan, Ontario.
The park, currently maintained by Cedar Fair and it has been the most seen seasonal park in North America for many continuous years.
The park opens everyday from May till September, with weekend entry in late April, October as well as in early November. Wonderland has 17 roller coasters and ranked World’s 2nd second by number of roller coasters, behind Six Flags Magic Mountain which has 19 coasters followed by Cedar Point (17 coasters).
The park has also a 8-hectare water park called Splash Works. The park hosts Halloween Haunt, a Halloween-themed bash, each fall, and other special events all through the season, together with many food festivals, as well as a one month long Canada Day festival called “Celebration Canada” and many more.
Starting in 2019, the park will start WinterFest, a holiday-themed event that will lengthen the operating time of Wonderland Canada to late December.
In the year 2017, it was North America’s most visited seasonal amusement park and the 2nd most visited Cedar Fair Amusement park, after Knott’s Berry Farm in California with approximate 3.76 million visitors.
On 15 August 2018, the park announced Yukon Striker, a B& M drive coaster. The ride will be made available to the public from the starting of the 2019 season. The ride will have a 75-metre-drop into an submerged tunnel in the midway of the Vortex helix. The ride will have a maximum speed of 130 km/h. The ride, upon opening, will be the tallest, longest, and fastest dive coaster in the world and will have four inversions that is more than any other dive coaster, along with the first vertical loop on a Dive Coaster.
Playland, Vancouver
Playland, Vancouver, is the oldest amusement park in canada. It is Located in Hastings Park.
The regular season starts from May and ends in September every year. The park opens again for Fright Nights from middle of October to the Halloween weekend. Usually, the park adds a new ride each year and the park always have peak admissions during the Fair.
Some of the interesting events at the fair include Talent shows, Animal Races, Monster Trucks, Demolition Derbies, and many foods/snacks. At this time, rides are taken from West Coast Amusements which nearly doubles the number of rides.
