This estate even had its own railway station from 1845 to 1950. The other attractions of this house and estate are the beautiful gardens. The gardens are quite diverse as well as extensive.

A formal ground is present just behind the building. Other than this, it also has a park which merges with the garden. There are two garden buildings present in this landscape. One is the temple of four winds which is present at the garden’s end.
